Tell us about your role

The Project Management Institute defines project managers as organised, goal-oriented professionals who use passion, creativity, and collaboration to lead projects that are destined for success. I would say this sums up our intentions in the Project Management team here at Conscious perfectly!

My favourite types of projects are projects that challenge our skills and really give us the platform to show off the incredible collection of talent and knowledge in our production team. I personally love the problem solving and pre-emptive mindset required in my role.

What’s your favourite Conscious value and why?

Our 5 values all hold an important place in our everyday approach to work at Conscious. Having the space and culture to be empowered, generous, collaborative, and inquisitive with our teams and our clients makes for effective and fun communication every day! However, for me personally, transparency resonates with me the most because this is fundamentally linked to integrity, an essential quality for me in the people I surround myself with and my place of work.

Tell us about your life outside of Conscious

People who know me well would describe me as a Scatterling of Africa (see Johnny Clegg). My heart beats to a South African drum whilst I explore all that England has to offer with my hubby and beloved pooches at my side. I spend as much of my day outside as possible, whether it’s paddleboarding, dog walking, hiking, or reading and gardening in my jungle at home! I also volunteer for 3 charities that are very close to my heart and time spent contributing to these causes brings me a lot of joy.
