Tell us about your role

As a copywriter, I work with our copywriting and wider marketing teams to produce bespoke content to communicate the law accessibly and concisely while maintaining our clients’ brand image and voice. Our mission is simple: to convey the law clearly to those who may need to become more familiar with all the complex legal jargon it entails. 

What’s your favourite Conscious value and why?

Legal content inherently requires compassion. When working with such sensitive and potentially volatile content, it’s crucial to be generous and appreciative of the context in which people view it. This equally applies to working within the Conscious team, being open and ready to help wherever needed and ensuring we live up to the high standards we set ourselves. 

Tell us about your life outside of Conscious

Outside of work, you can usually find me outdoors, whether playing football, going for a run, or getting muddy at a festival. I also love spending time with my friends, family, and Florrie, my Bedlington-Whippet.

I’m an absolute nerd for sports and history and can occasionally be found writing stupidly niche football content or listening to a podcast about some long-forgotten civilisation. I’m also a big fan of making video games way too hard and mentally torturing myself.

I’ve just moved from Manchester back to Bristol, where I attended university. I’m loving rediscovering the city as a functioning adult rather than a student. I’ve been trying all the best food and drink spots and am always open to recommendations.
