There are two major pitfalls that prevent a law firm’s website from being successful. One is bad design and another is out of date content.

Out of date content is, in my opinion, more damaging than not having a website at all. All it says is that a firm is not really on top of its game at letting clients know what the key issues affecting areas of their business and how they can help prospects with their problems.

Why go to all the time and effort and finance of designing a website and leaving it more or less static?  It's only half the job.

The structure and balance of legal sector in general sometimes leads to the conclusion that there isn't enough time to spend writing pieces and debating comment on issues that affect the law firm’s client base continuously. Not only is it imperative that sites are kept up-to-date from an aesthetic point of view on the homepage, it also raises the prospect of that particular website being placed in limbo in search engines if it is not.

Such importance that is placed on search engine marketing now it adds extra impetus on making sure law firms layout a clear strategy as to how they attract leads via this method and enable themselves to be found by clients and prospects alike.

Competition is high. However, clients and prospects are searching for services within the legal sector in many different practice areas in quite a wide geographical spread. It is up to individual firms to set out a strategy which enable them to create long standing relationships and thrive.

Many a Conscious client have tackled this issue head-on by subscribing to our legal content packages which not only alleviates time pressures, having something continuously fresh on their website, but it automatically appeals to search engines to come back to your website and review new content.
