The Orange Dog Charity Challenge continues…
As many people who attended the conference last year will remember, The Conscious Solutions Stand brought along a little friend in the form of The Orange Dog, who not only proved popular with delegates, but also managed to get his photo taken with Michael Portillo!
And so a plan was hatched for the dog to tour the UK via LawNet firms to raise money for charity after its popularity at the Annual conference. If each firm to take part donates just £10, Conscious Solutions and LawNet will each donate another £10 each to charity for each photo received. We have a target of £500.
So far, our orange canine has made friends with a number of firms, making himself at home with the likes of Myers Lister Price, Ashton KCJ and mfg Solicitors LLP.
But this month the plastic pooch has taken time out from his travels to host a staff meeting at LawNet’s offices. Top of the agenda was an increase in budget allocation for dog biscuits, the need for more research into stick throwing/fetching activities and how the law industry’s mood could be significantly lifted by small, squeaky chew toys shaped like cats.
The meeting was later adjourned for afternoon walkies...
