Transcription: Marketing = Consistency

Hi. It’s David Gilroy. It’s Friday the fourth of January. I’m not sure how you’re feeling after two, maybe three days back at work. I know we’ve had a pretty quiet week, there’s not too much going on. We had a few law firms. Uh, one particularly really hot prospect which is great.

The thing I manna talk to you about today this time of year is not about New Year’s resolutions (I’m not a big fan of the goal target, I prefer goals and targets). It’s actually about how marketing equals consistency.

What we have seen in previous years working with over two hundred law firms, is, people come back in January, get their pile of Christmas stuff out of the way, then say, “Hey let’s do some marketing. It’s a new year, we need to get on with things.” And that’s really not what marketing is about. Marketing is about the consistent application of marketing techniques over time.

Now, that might be an SEO campaign. It might be something that I’m marketing. But the key thing is: Do it consistently. Don’t just start on January the fourth and finish on February the fourth.
