Well is it? A client of mine sent me the following link yesterday.

And yes, viewed this way, social media can seem REALLY complicated, so let me try and simplify it for our law firm audience….and I mean really simple, abbreviated language.
B2C law firms
1. Facebook - have a fan page, interact with fans as quickly as you can, test out some ads.
2. Twitter - one or more accounts, build followers. For every 10 tweets only two should be about you. The other eight should be signposting to interesting things.
3. Pinterest - hmm, not sure about this one, but what else is there? Google+? Seems like a ghost town every time I go to visit. Look at what Inksters (a Scottish law firm) have done with Pinterest to give you some idea - http://pinterest.com/inksters/
B2B law firms
1. LinkedIn - build connections like there's no tomorrow. Try LinkedIn adverts. A £3,500 spend last autumn got us £35,000 worth of new projects and a pipeline of £29,000.
2. LinkedIn - did I say build connections (see 1. above)
3. For every 10 tweets only two should be about you. The other eight should be sign posting to interesting things.
Has that made social media simple enough for you?
