This is my first blog on the new site, I know slap my wrist for tardiness. At the beginning of the year we carried out some CPD events with ETSOS.
ETSOS is the UK’s leading conveyancing technology specialist. We support property lawyers and estate agents with a range of innovative services and solutions designed to secure efficiencies, service improvements and increased profitability whilst effectively managing risk.
We are starting to work with more and more partners in the legal profession for one very simple reason - We want to offer more value to our clients.
The workshops were aimed at helping conveyancing firms to gain further knowledge and help increase their revenue through the world of Digital Marketing. We like to pride our workshops on an interactive nature, nothing worse than a "Death by PowerPoint" speaker. This was very well received and we had a lot of engagement with it.
Key areas clients wanted to know more about were:
- Social Media Marketing - the "go to" platforms, what to do but more importantly, what NOT to do on Social Media.
- What makes a GREAT website - We are still seeing more and more firms priding themselves on being a niche and modern firm, but their website doesn't match up to their mantra.
- Mobile, Mobile oh and Mobile - Around 80% of the firms that attended didn't have a mobile or responsive presence. Without this your firms website will lose out to optimised or responsive websites, or worse, your competitors!
Now we know that at some of these events it can sound like the same old thing, however, technology is changing faster than we can keep up with. So what's the answer?
Simple - get the basics right and the rest will follow. This is what Google wants you to have.
Hopefully my next blog won't be too far away, actually, I know it wont be as Legalex is only around the corner!
